KALAMAZOO THUMPS MID MICHIGAN AGAIN
Bucks Blow Chance To Extend Lead In Playoff Race

In one of the wilder Premier Development League (PDL) games this season, the Kalamazoo Kingdom made it two straight over the Mid Michigan Bucks with a 5-3 victory in Saginaw Township. The game featured three ejections and four caution cards, plus several lead changes. The Bucks overcame a two-goal deficit at the half on talleys by Will Kletzien and Pat Noonan. Noonan's second goal of the night gave the Bucks a 3-2 lead with 28 minutes remaining, but Kalamazoo (6-6-1) answered with three goals to finish the game and keep their playoff hopes alive. The Bucks (8-4-1) currently hold a two-game lead over Indiana, West Michigan and Kalamazoo for the final playoff spot from the Great Lakes Division. Chicago Fire Reserves (11-1-1) are in first place.

Mid Michigan opened the scoring at the third minute mark as Pat Noonan chipped Kalamazoo keeper, Evan Reinhardt on a feed from Paul Snape. But the Kingdom answered quickly on goals by Simon Carey and Reese Richardson within the next ten minutes to take the 2-1 lead. With five minutes to play, the Bucks' goalkeeper, Eric Pogue was ejected for a hard tackle on Carey, who was also ejected for punching Pogue. The play resulted from a very late offside flag from the assistant referee. The Bucks played a man down from the 50th minute mark as Tino Scicluna was ejected for his second yellow card of the match.
