HEINEMANN HEADS HOME GAME-WINNER
Bucks Midfielder Nets Fourth Goal in Dramatic Fashion

The Mid Michigan Bucks won a thriller against the Indiana Invaders on Adam Heinemann's header from a Phil Presser corner kick with 30 seconds left in the match Sunday night at Birmingham Seaholm High School. In his first start of the season, Heinemann collected his fourth goal of 2002, tying him for the team lead with Pat Noonan. The minor league soccer Bucks had tied the Invaders in the first game of the year, 1-1, in a game that was cut short due to lightning at Argos Indiana. The win puts the Bucks (5-1-1) into at least second place in the Great Lakes Division standings, depending on the first place Chicago Fire Reserves' (5-0-1) result against the Dayton Gems.

The Bucks opened the scoring on a nice give-and-go from Adam Heinemann to Ryan Mack, who buried a low left-footed shot past Indiana keeper, James Van Dyne. "It was good to see Ryan break out of his slump a little bit. He worked hard and had a lot of chances," said Bucks coach, Dario Brose. Indiana scored the equalizer on a hard shot into the upper corner by Junro Narita with 22 minutes remaining, setting the stage for Heinemann's last minute heroics.

Goals: Bucks - Mack (Heinemann) 36th minute; Invaders - Narita 67th; Bucks - Heinemann (Presser) 90th.
Bucks' Line-up: Pogue, Kalso, Djeukeng (Presser 45th), Perry, Lee, Mack, Detter, Scicluna, Heinemann, Coulibaly (David 80th), Snape.
Indiana's Line-up: Vandyne, Ryback, Suarez, Lopez, Hoge (Muckey 9th), Riley, Forstner, Narita, Garcia (Quiroz 45th), Gimenez, Pierano (Walker 67th).
