Bucks Win Two Big Games in Canada
Mid Michigan Can Clinch Playoff Spot With Win In Canton On Saturday

The Mid Michigan Bucks minor league soccer saw their chances of advancing to the Premier Development League improve greatly after posting two big wins in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario this past weekend. This sets up the opportunity for the Bucks to secure a second place finish in the Great Lakes Division with a win in their final regular season game this Saturday, July 20th at Plymouth-Canton High School against Dayton (7:30pm kick-off). Tickets may be purchased at the gate ($9.00-adult and $6.00-student) or $6.00 advanced tickets are available by contacting the Livonia Soccer Club at (734) 525-2859.

Mid Michigan (10-5-2, 50 points) of the Premier Development League (PDL) charged into Canada Saturday evening on a mission to bring home two victories over the Thunder Bay Chill. With a 4-2 win Saturday and an impressive 6-2 win Sunday afternoon, the Bucks met their goal. Not only did they earn eight points for the victories, but by scoring more than three goals in each game they also collected two additional bonus points, putting the minor league soccer team in a position to control their own destiny for a playoff trip to Des Moines, Iowa on July 26th. West Michigan (9-6-1, 44 points) trails the Bucks by six points for the final Great Lakes Division playoff spot. PDL teams play 18 regular season contests and receive four points for a win, one point for a tie and one point for scoring three or more goals in a game.

INSIDER ISSUED YELLOW CARD
Citing technical difficulties, the Insider was unable to get game reports to you following each match this weekend and was issued a yellow card by Buckster. The Insider, in addition to feeling great shame, believes the problem has been fixed and you can count on getting back to "same-day" reports this Saturday.
