BUCKS WIN 4-2 ON SATURDAY IN TOLEDO Indiana Invaders Next at Birmingham Seaholm on Sunday
Mid Michigan picked up a victory over the Chicago Eagles Select, 4-2, at a Premier Development League (PDL) match at Toledo Celtics-Devilbiss Stadium Saturday night before a crowd of 920. The Bucks broke open a 2-2 tie with two goals in the final 13 minutes by Adam Heinemann and Paul Snape. The Bucks out-shot the Eagles 25-16 and Eric Pogue picked up the win in net with eight saves.
Chicago opened the scoring with a goal by Doco Wesso, but the Bucks struck with two goals by Benji Djeukeng and Stephan David in the final five minutes to take a 2-1 halftime lead. Wesseh struck again at the 64th minute for the Eagles second goal. "It was hot and the Eagles seemed to wear down at the end of each half," said Bucks coach, Dario Brose. "We also seemed to settle down and play our game at the end." Benji Djeukeng was named player of the game.

BUCKS PLAY FINAL GAME AT SEAHOLM TOMORROW The Bucks will make their final regular season appearance in Oakland County tomorrow (June 2nd) at 7pm against second-place Indiana. Mid Michigan can overtake the Invaders with a win. Tickets are $9 for adults and $6 for kids at the gate. |  |
