    BUCKS REMAIN UNDEFEATED

Bucks move record to 3-0-1 with 3-0 shutout of Slayers

The Michigan Bucks remained perfect on the season after blanking the Toledo Slayers, 3-0, on Wednesday night at Hurley Field in Berkley, MI. Mychal Turpin opened the scoring when he buried his 2nd goal of the season in the 31st minute. The Bucks would carry the 1-0 lead into the 82nd minute when Turpin booted in his second of the contest. Bucks leading scorer Knox Cameron assisted on both of Turpin's goals, then in the 90th minute, he added his 6th goal of the season to give Michigan their third win in four games. Stephan David assisted on the Bucks final goal. Jeff Wiese earned the shutout in the Bucks net.

"It was nice to get the win and shutout in front of the home fans," said coach Don Gemmell. The Bucks will take the field again on Saturday, June 5th at Hurley Field against PDL rival, the Chicago Fire Reserves (7:30pm).
