BUCKS FIND CURE FOR FORT WAYNE'S FEVER
Mid Michigan Rolls Into Playoffs 4-0

A chance to make the playoffs was only a win away for the Fever but the Bucks made their chances slim handing fort Wayne a 4-0 loss on Saturday night. The Bucks needed to win this game just as much, not for playoff hopes but to go into Saturday's Great Lakes Conference Semi Finals with a win.

With several scoring chances for both teams, the scored remained scoreless as the teams went into the locker room at half time. The scoring drought was ended in the second half as the Buck's Ryan Rzepka put in a header from Eric Nelson. Once the first goal was scored the offense started to flow for the Bucks. The Fever pushed up as many as 6 forwards at one time, leaving a lot of space for the Bucks to counter. And they did. Mychal Turpin scored the games second goal when he received a beautiful cross from Brian Ombigi. The third goal came minutes later as Nate Norman put one past the keeper, as well as Stephan David adding one more shortly after that.

"It was huge to get a win like this today, we didn't want to go into the playoffs on a 3 game losing streak. Now we have momentum to take into the playoffs," said assistant coach Dan Fitzgerald. The next test for the Bucks will be this Saturday against Des Moines Menace in the single game elimination playoffs.
