BUCKS BEAT 2ND-PLACE INVADERS 1-0
Detroit-based Minor League Soccer Team Goes To 10-1-1

The Indiana Invaders came to Canton attempting to narrow the gap with the first-place Mid Michigan Bucks in Great Lakes Division play of the Premier Development League (PDL) Friday night, but dropped a 1-0 decision. Paul Snape (Oakland University) scored off an assist from Ryan Alexander (Southfield) with three minutes remaining in the first half, while Jeff Wiese (Oakland University) stopped four Indiana shots for the shutout. The Bucks (10-1-1), who out-shot the Invaders (6-4-2) 17-4 on the night, are off until next weekend's road trip to Columbus and Indiana.

NY/NJ METROSTARS COMING TO BERKLEY FOR US OPEN CUP
The Bucks were awarded a home game yesterday for Round Three of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup by the United States Soccer Federation (USSF). The match against the Eastern Conference-leading NY/NJ MetroStars - the first-ever played in the metropolitan Detroit area by a Major League Soccer team - will be held on Wednesday, July 16th (7:30pm) at Hurley Field in Berkley. Ticket information will be announced next week.


BUCKS MEET KALAMAZOO IN FINAL PDL HOME GAME
The Bucks' final regular season home game will be at Plymouth-Canton High School on Saturday, July 12th against the Kalamazoo Kingdom. Kick-off is at 7:30pm, with tickets costing just $9 at the gate. Discounted tickets are available at Bucks ticket outlets throughout the metropolitan Detroit area. Fans wanting more information should go to the Bucks website or call 989-781-6888.
